The Ayala Bulldogs boys basketball team clashed with the Bosco Tech Tigers in an intense quarterfinals game at the Gary Prestesater Classic. The Bulldogs started strong, holding a slim 13-11 lead over the Tigers at the end of the first quarter.

Ayala, with a 4-3 record, relied heavily on the exceptional performance of Josiah Yang, who netted an impressive 25 points throughout the game. Meanwhile, Bosco Tech (3-1) fought back in the second quarter, repeatedly tying the game. However, the Bulldogs managed to regain control and went into halftime with a 30-23 lead.

In a dramatic turn of events, Bosco Tech dominated the third quarter with a powerful 27-16 scoring run. Jaden Erami, displaying extraordinary skills, emerged as the game’s leading scorer, amassing an impressive 30 points. With this exceptional performance, the Tigers managed to pull ahead and ended the third quarter with a 50-46 lead.

Continuing their offensive momentum, Bosco Tech maintained their stride and went on to secure victory with a final score of 74-66. The Ayala Bulldogs fought hard but were unable to overcome the Tigers’ lead.

Looking ahead, Ayala will face Los Osos on Thursday, November 30th, while Bosco Tech is set to play against Ontario Christian on Friday, December 1st. All matches in the Gary Prestesater Classic take place at San Dimas High School.
