The CIF Southern Section has announced its 2024-2025 All-CIF Baseball Team, presented by the LA84 Foundation and selected by CIF-SS Baseball Coaches. Several standout players from the Sportscenetv.net coverage area were recognized for their outstanding performances during the season, including three Players of the Year and multiple top contributors from championship-contending programs.
Division 1 Honors
Seth Hernandez, a senior pitcher and outfielder from Corona High School, was named Division 1 Player of the Yearafter leading the Panthers to an incredible 28-1 overall record and a 14-1 finish in Big VIII League play. Hernandez dominated on the mound with a 9-1 record, a team-leading 0.39 ERA, and 105 strikeouts across 11 starts. At the plate, he hit .300 and finished second on the team with 7 home runs.
Hernandez was joined on the All-CIF list by two fellow Panthers:
- Anthony Murphy (Jr., OF)
- Billy Carlson (Sr., SS)
St. John Bosco also saw recognition with James Clark (Jr., SS) and Gavin Cervantes (Jr., P) making the list, while Coach of the Year honors went to Andy Rojo of St. John Bosco.
Division 2 Standouts
From Etiwanda High School, underclassmen Michael Aleman (So., P) and Jaeden Toki (Jr., IF) earned All-CIF honors after contributing to the Eagles’ strong season.
Division 3 Dominance
Glendora High School’s Brayden Johnson (Sr., P/OF) was named Division 3 Player of the Year after an impressive season. Johnson posted a .318 batting average, and on the mound went 9-3 with a 1.75 ERA across 19 appearances, including one save. The Tartans finished the season 23-11 overall and placed third in the Palomares League.

- Tanner Grable (Jr., P/3B)
- Aaron Jacobsen (Sr., UTIL)
San Dimas outfielder Vaughn Coleman (Sr.) also earned a spot on the All-CIF team.
Coach of the Year in Division 3 was awarded to Jerry Lewallen of Glendora.
Division 4 Champions
Ganesha High School’s Gavin Moran (Sr., P) earned Division 4 Player of the Year honors after leading the Giants to a 23-3 record, a 15-0 sweep in league play, and the CIF-SS Division 4 Championship. Jared Sandler, head coach of Ganesha, was named Coach of the Year for the division.
Two other local players stood out in Division 4:
- Xiovany Ochoa, senior outfielder for Chino High School, led the Mt. Baldy League champion Cowboys (18-5, 13-2) with a .400 batting average, .566 OBP, 14 stolen bases, 34 runs, and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
- Bryan Scott, sophomore first baseman for Don Lugo High School, powered the Conquistadors (17-8, 13-2) with a .621 slugging percentage, 2 home runs, 31 RBIs, and 27 hits. Scott was also second on the team with a .409 average and .551 OBP.
These local standouts exemplified grit, talent, and leadership throughout the 2024-25 high school baseball season. The full list of All-CIF Baseball honorees can be viewed on the CIF Southern Section website.
