In the second meeting of their Palomares League season series, the Diamond Bar Brahmas delivered a dominant fourth-quarter performance to secure a 71–58 road victory over the Glendora Tartans on Friday night at Glendora High School.

The win allowed Diamond Bar to even the two-game series after Glendora claimed a 65-60 victory earlier this season at Diamond Bar High School. With the result, both teams now sit at 3–4 in Palomares League play, tied for fourth place in the standings.

Diamond Bar held a narrow 15–14 edge after the first quarter behind five points from sophomore wing Ayden Ellis. Senior guard Jedi Chow and senior post Jacob Kim each added four points, while Glendora countered with four points apiece from senior guard Max Hilgenfeldt and senior forward Tanner Grable.

Glendora gained momentum in the second quarter, outscoring the Brahmas 19–13 to take a 33–28 halftime lead. Hilgenfeldt led the Tartans with seven points in the quarter, and junior center Tiago Ichaso contributed four. Chow paced Diamond Bar with eight points as the Brahmas stayed within reach.

Diamond Bar began to close the gap in the third quarter, holding Glendora to nine points while trimming the deficit to one. Senior wing Demi Sobiye knocked down two three-pointers for six points, and Ellis added five, including a three, as the Brahmas trailed 42–41 entering the final period.

The fourth quarter proved decisive.

Diamond Bar erupted for 30 points, shooting an efficient 9-for-10 from the field and connecting on six three-pointers. Jacob Kim fueled the surge with 12 points in the quarter, all from beyond the arc, as the Brahmas pulled away late.

Chow finished with a game-high 21 points and 10 assists, while Ellis added 20 points and three three-pointers. Kim totaled 19 points with five threes, Sobiye scored nine, and Zachary Zhi added two.

Glendora was led by Jeremiah Garson’s 19 points and 16 from Hilgenfeldt. Grable scored eight, Ichaso added six, and Tyson Rush and Moshe Loucks each chipped in three.

Diamond Bar shot 15-for-19 from the free-throw line, while Glendora went 18-for-24. The Tartans held a rebounding edge (27–17), but Diamond Bar’s offensive efficiency and perimeter shooting proved decisive.
