No surprises in this game as the Chino Hills Huskies dominated Sierra Canyon in the first half of the game. Some teams would be intimidated playing in a professional arena, but not for the Huskies.

Taking a 49-26 lead in the first half, the Huskies looked like they played all of their games at the Honda Center and couldn’t have been more at home.

To kick off the second half, the Huskies Elizjah Scott put the exclamation point in the game with a huge dunk that put the capacity crowd in an uproar. There wasn’t any question that this game belonged to Chino Hills.

Not only were the Huskies crashing the boards, but from the perimeter LaMelo Ball sank a deep basket from three-point country. The shock from the crowd came as the distance from where the shot was taken would have been good enough even for the NBA.

In the fourth quarter with 1:48 left the Huskies took a 101-70 lead. That was enough for Chino Hills’ coach Steve Baik to pull out his starter and bring in the bench to take over.

The Huskies eased to a 105-83 victory to win the CIF Southern Section Open Division and maintain their perfect 30-0 record.

LiAngelo Ball lead the overall game in scoring with 31 points following were LaMelo Ball with 26 points, Lonzo Ball with 20 points and Elizjah Scott with 12 points.
