The Diamond Bar Brahmas hosted the Bonita Bearcats on Wednesday and it was Bonita that came away with a 16-1 victory in a game shortened to five innings due to the mercy rule.
Bonita set the tone early with a strong offensive showing and never looked back, collecting 15 hits on the day. Madi Arzate led the way with a perfect 4-for-4 performance at the plate, while the Bearcats capitalized on early opportunities to build a commanding lead.
Diamond Bar was able to get on the board, but couldn’t slow down Bonita’s consistent offense and defensive play.
The Brahmas will look to bounce back in their next outing as they will play at Glendora. The Bearcats will travel to Claremont to play the Wolfpack. Both games are to take place on Friday with first pitch at 3:30pm.
