Game Notes:

  • The East team led by quarterback Cole McDonald of Sonora was named team MVP
  • Erick Hernandez of Burroughs was the West team’s MVP after scoring his team’s lone touchdown on a 40-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Tangos of Flintridge Prep.
  • Nathan Thomas from Rancho Cucamonga was named MVP lineman.
  • Leading 7-0 in the 1st qtr. the East scored again on a 26-yard touchdown pass from Charter Oak’s Kam Brown to Chaffey’s Mike Dean.
  • In the second quarter, Ayala’s Isiah Flowers intercepted a pass by and returned the ball 25 yards for a touchdown giving the East the lead 20-0.
  • Erick Hernandez of Burroughs was named West team MVP and scored the West’s lone touchdown on a 40-yard touchdown pass from Flintridge Prep’s Andrew Tsangeos.
  •  Cole McDonald threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to La Serna’s Anthony Garcia made it 27-6. McDonald also scored on a 12-yard keeper
  • The East leads the all-time series 24-11-2.
